Number the pieces of art and set up the activity as a gallery walk using classical or instrumental music from the Holocaust time period to assist in the setting of the tone and mood for the students. Pause the music every three to five minutes to indicate movement to the next station for the students.
Using their own paper, the students are to provide a title for the art as well as two themes, two motifs, two symbols, and two topics. The themes need to be complete statements, but the remaining components may be notes.
